The Dust Bowl (film)

The Dust Bowl 2012 is a documentary film directed by Ken Burns which aired on Public Broadcasting System on Novemberand 19, 2012. The fourpart miniseries recounts the impact of the Dust Bowl on the U.S. during the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Images of the documentary were used in the 2014 film Interstellar, that deals with massive dust storms in a near future.
